What KNOT Gateway / Humidynit Hub does
KNOT Gateway, also described as the Humidynit Hub, is the connection layer that can transfer data from supported site sensors into the Humidynit workflow. It does not measure every condition by itself and is not a universal sensor adapter.
Gateway role in a monitoring setup
The gateway sits between technically supported sensors or site data and Platform. Power, network or radio conditions, sensor protocol, distance, building materials and project configuration can all affect whether data is received.
What “compatible where technically supported” means
Compatibility means the exact sensor, protocol, connection method, gateway configuration and intended data path have been reviewed and can be supported for that project. Brand name alone is not enough. A device being available for purchase does not establish compatibility.

- Number of locations and sensors
What is not guaranteed
This page does not guarantee universal third-party sensor support, uninterrupted connectivity, radio range, network approval, data completeness or suitability for a particular site. Confirm the design before purchasing hardware.

Record the gateway identifier, visible status, affected sensor models, last known data time and whether one or all locations are affected. Never send Wi-Fi passwords or access credentials.
